It’s August. London, Ontario is in the middle of yet another heat wave; London’s fifth of the summer. Temperatures are in the 30s, but feel closer to 40C with the humidex. It is HOT!
But not as hot as Dallas…
The last thing anyone might think of with all this heat is Christmas, but that’s not the case for Pam Cook. Today it feels like 45C in Dallas, TX, but the sparkle of Christmas Decor is keeping attendees cool at the 20th Annual Christmas Decor conference. And as a representative of Christmas Decor London, Pam is soaking up every minute of it.
Every year Christmas Decor hosts their annual conference to draw new franchises, encourage existing franchises, and introduce new products to all. As this is their 20th anniversary, they wanted to think BIG, and that is exactly what they are doing.
Pam flew into Dallas earlier this week and hasn’t stopped. And yes, everything has been big. From the big warehouse full of Christmas Decor items, to the big Christmas trees, wreaths, nutcrackers and icicles—everything seems bigger in Texas. As Texas is the second biggest state in the US, I guess it goes without saying, but I think Pam might need a bigger suitcase to bring home some of the goodies she finds in Dallas.
Back in London, we are hoping that the biggest thing that Pam brings home is ideas. Christmas Decor London is always open to new ideas of how best to serve our clients and Pam is a big part of that. So if she discovers a marketing secret or two, finds a few new ways to promote best practices for our Christmas Decor crew, or perhaps gets inspired for new ways to dazzle customers, we are happy. Because Christmas is never far from our minds at Christmas Decor London, but getting new ideas or products to share that joy is like a big, early Christmas gift in August.
We can’t wait to hear all about it when you return Pam!
