It’s November. You might not want to think about it yet, but Christmas is only 47 days away. That is a mere 7 weeks to go. While you certainly shouldn’t be in a panic to finish your Christmas shopping as of yesterday, it is time to think about your decor. Christmas carols are already playing in stores and while most lights haven’t had their switches flipped yet, there are Christmas Decor items in place in many locations already.
Have you decorated your home or business yet?
For businesses that rely on retail sales during the busy holiday shopping blitz, I am sure the answer is yes. The London Santa Claus Parade is this weekend, which means that Saint Nick will be hitting area malls near you very soon. In fact, I have it under good word that he will be making his first appearance at White Oaks Mall starting on November 16th! The Christmas Decor London crew was out there stringing lights recently and got the good news firsthand from Santa’s Helpers that he was on the way. I guess that means it is time to write your letters to Santa too then!
Now you might have looked out your window this week and figured you could put the task of putting your exterior Christmas decorations off for a bit yet. It has been windy, rainy, wet and slippery. Not a good combination to add to precarious ladders propped up on the side of your house. I hate to tell you that London, Ontario averages 74 mm of rain in November though. We also average 23 days where the wind speed is above 20 km/hr. When you factor in the weather and the risks you take to decorate your home for the holidays, it doesn’t leave you with many safe days with which to do it in.
And let me tell you, it is far better to be safe and enjoy the holidays with family and friends, than to spend Christmas in a sling, brace or cast and struggling to be part of anything.
At Christmas Decor London, we want you to be safe this Christmas. We come to your home or business ready for the weather and everything it throws at us in November. Our staff are equipped with ladders, climbing equipment, a bucket truck for hard to reach trees or peaks, plus no pesky fears of heights. We come with your choice of design items, like wreaths, garlands, and of course a wide variety of coloured LED lights (think blue, green, red, amber, warm white, and even a little purple if you act fast). Plus, if there are any issues with your Christmas decorations over the season (say the wind blows something askew), we are a mere phone call away to rectify it.
We want you to be 100% happy with our work and professional.
That is what keeps you returning in seasons to come. And in case you were wondering, 80% of our clients are renewals. The Black Walnut is just one of them. We make sure that you can spend more time on the important things, like spending time with loved ones. Doesn’t that sound better than struggling with snarled Christmas lights?Plus, our renewal customers have the bonus of a faster install (if there aren’t any changes to previous year’s designs). We do the work. You stay safe, warm and dry.
That sounds worthy of a Merry Christmas in our books.
